Sierra Nolf

Advanced Dance Instructor/Competition Choreographer

Sierra first danced with Beth Walsh Dance Centre for 14 years, where she was trained to be a well-rounded competitive dancer by taking Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Acro, and Theatre. She went on to earn her BA in Psychology with a Minor in Dance Studies from Wheaton College, MA. During her time at Wheaton, she was a Captain of The Wheaton College Dance Company and a member of TRYBE (a Hip-Hop and Multicultural dance group). At Wheaton, she worked frequently with Kurt Adametz of Holland America Line and RWS Entertainment Group, Andrea Taylor-Blenis formerly with Prometheus Dance, and Leticia Guerrero, Ballet Mistress of Festival Ballet Providence. In addition, she was able to work with choreographers from the Island Moving Company out of Newport, RI, Michelle Bach-Coulibaly of Brown University, and various other artists. She had the opportunity to choreograph multiple pieces for both Dance Company and TRYBE by challenging herself to use different styles and techniques for each piece. Sierra’s passion for dance has only grown greater, she is extremely grateful and excited to be be more involved with the Beth Walsh Dance Centre and Company. She is looking forward to developing her students’ passion for dance and skills used not only in dance, but the every day world.
